Can you make takoyaki in a baby cake pop maker? by Chu-Chu-Panda Can you make takoyaki in a baby cake pop maker? by Chu-Chu-Panda
YES yes you can!
it cooks it slow and it does take some practice but it is very possible :giggle:
I was making this with my bff :iconayasal: they come out a little smaller than if you buy the Takoyaki Electric Cooker from jlist:[link] and I still want to invest in this "authentic pan" [link] but for now our $15 baby cake makers work just as good :meow: some came out flat on top and round on bottom XD

How to make takoyaki:

Just Hungry-[link]

sadly no one on DA has made any tut.s maybe Ill put together a step by step with my friend if people are interested :dalove: we made it using Okonomiyaki pack sold at our local Asian market and Chinese sausage as filling (they were out of octopus boo:()

One of my favorite foods! I'm lazy so I just buy the frozen ones and pop them in the microwave and then brown them in a regular pan. XD Yours looks absolutely delicious.

Yeah, they're quite handy. I can get them at almost any japanese grocery store around here, but I'm just very fortunate to be living in this area. Do you have one in your area?

Nice! I think just being in California in general helps because we have so much good Asian food here compared to other states. I don't think I could ever move to another state! Except maybe Hawaii...because they have a lot of Japanese food, and of course beaches. XD
